II. Summary:
The chief rabbi of Safed Shmuel Eliyahu suggested to the state of Isreal to hang the sons of the terrorist who killed those poor, innocent students at Mercaz Harav. They think by hanging the sons of the terrorist they will show people not to mess with them. They say that this has been done by Jews of ancient times to take revenge. Eliyahu has spoken with much hate and said “We have to extract a revenge that is so painful it will burn into their souls the message of all our enemies that Jewish blood is more valuable that gold and platinum.” They say the Torah restricts them from committing revenge upon a person but not upon a state. And so they continue to give explanations of how they have the right to do this.
III. Reaction:
A) The AP theme this article relates to is Impact of interaction among and within major societies because both sides of this article continue to retaliate and fight back at one another.
B) Continuous outbreaks between the two groups have occurred numerous times and don’t seem to be slowing down rather than increasing.
C) The writer of this article is an Isreali male, which would most likely make him an insider.
D) We might want to approach this article with caution because it was written by an Isreali who might be a little outraged at what happened at Mercaz Harav and is trying to deal with this terrible death with violence and retaliation.
E) I would like to hear from the mother of the sons of the terrorist that they are trying to hang because I would like to hear what she has to say and if she thinks that by hanging her sons they will have solved their problems.
F) I think that by hanging these kids they will not accomplish anything and stir up more problems in the making. After they hang these kids there will be another retaliation and it will keep going on and on.

I agree with your thoughts and think that hanging the sons of the terrorists is not a good idea. The sons may be great people and should not be the consequence of their father's actions. They should not have to pay the price for their fathers.
I think your right. Hanging the sons is a way to punish the father but the son shouldn't as Katie said have to pay the price for their fathers mistakes. The sons could have no correlation to their fathers misdemeanors and it seems almost barbaric to kill kids even if they were related to terrorists. Not only that the terrorists would of course be angered by this and nobody knows the power they possess.
