Summary:
The Middle East is heading into another Civil war because of land issues. Hezbollah and his troops are moving in wanting more land.
- The ap theme that this article relates to is Changes in functions and structures of states and in attitudes toward states and political identities, including the emergence of the nation-state. This is because the society is a nation but the nation is having trouble getting along. The structure of this state is very chaotic considering they are having fights during the middle of the night. The leaders of the two groups can not seem to make a compromise that both sides agree with.
- The history of this article was back in the 1990's after the middle east had their last civil war the tensions ere never completely taken care of and everybody was not happy.
- The point of view from this document is an insider since he tells us about the fights at night and the parts of land that Hezbollah's troops can cross.
- This point of view could be bias since he is an insider he could be taking the sides of Hezbollah of Lebanon. In this article it sounds as if he feels that Lebanon and his troops are not being fair to Hezbollah.
- The point of view that is missing is from an ordinary citizen living in the middle east to see what it is like for them right now. This could show us how bad things really are.
- I feel that Lebanon and his troops should allow Hezbollah and his troops to cross the hills and have access to the airport in case their is and emergency. I do not feel that Lebanon is being fair. I think that they should make a compromise and stick to it,.
