"How Hitler invaded the market world"

II. This article caught my attention right away because of the title. I never thought that Hitler could be viewed in a positive light and i especially did not expect to see this title in a Jewish newspaper sight. This was all about the Holocaust Educational Trust becoming fearful that Hitler is being used to market and advertise items like pizza to the general public. In places like the Ukraine and South Korea, advertisements protraying Hitler in a normal way (such as a pizza delivery man) was disturbing to certain people who saw them and were worried that the image and symbols of Hitler are not being taken seriously anymore. On the other hand, this article also shows another way of thinking...Is it possible that because these foreign countries are going for the element of shock which sometimes does sell? Richard Brim explains that he believes that these countries are less sophisticated than the UK or the U.S. They could also be going for the element of humor and every country has a different advertising style.
III. This article relates to the APWH theme:Impact of technology, economics, and demography on people and the environment. This is because the article is explaining how different countries use Hitler to advertise their products. If it's correct, these countries are not used to censorship like the UK and our country and we should accept that.
2) The historical backround of this issue is one that everyone knows. The time when the Nazis led by Hitler took over Germany and many other countries in World War II. This issue is very sensitive for many people and most of all Jewish people because the Jews were the number one target for the Nazi's brutal murders.
3) A male Jew is writing this article and this affects the point of view because if he's Jewish he will obviously feel very strongly about the issue of Hitler although he certainly showed different views on the issue.
4) The point of view missing in this article is one from one of the countries that advertised. It would have been helpful to hear from them how they portrayed their own advertisement.
5) I thought this article was extremely insightful and it showed how other countries viewed Hitler and his actions and how our country and others view these countries based on their advertisements and how we feel the right to call these countries "unsophisticated" and make excuses for them.

I agree with you and I too, have never viewed the acts of Hitler to be, in any way, positive. This article definitly sheads some new light on the topic. Also, the fact that Hitler's name is on a headline in a Jewish newspaper is very ironic.
