Israel kills West Bank Palestinians-Palestine Times March 13, 2008-http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/4F562611-A2BF-4473-8776-B01819C42ACB.htm
II. Summary:
In Palestine, the West Bank, Israeli forces murdered 5 Palestinians. One of the people killed was Mohamed Shihadeh an Islamic Jihad member who the Israelis have been tracking down for years. He was killed because he was said to be the head of an attack in a Jewish seminary.
In response to the assassination, Islamic Jihads fired at least four rockets to Israel. Nobody was killed from the rockets. Earlier in the day, Israelis attacked other Islamic Jihads and raided towns in West Bank. Also, the Israelis have decided to boycott Al Jazeera because they believe that they made biased remarks in other articles.
III. Reactions:
A) This article relates to the AP World History theme impact of interaction among and within major societies because the Israelis and the Palestinians are attacking and conflicting (interacting) with one another.
B) In the past, Israel and Palestine do not have good relationships. The two nations have been fighting for over fifty years. Israel and Palestine are conflicting over their claims to the ownership of land. There have been many attacks between the two nations, and the amounts of casualties are greatly abundant. Because of these conflicts, Israel and Palestine do not like each other.
C) This article was written by a Muslim Palestinian. Because the article is about Palestine and Israel, he is an insider.
D) This article may have bias in it, due to the fact that it is written by a Palestinian Muslim concerning Israeli attacks. Since the Palestinians and Israelis do not care for each other, the Palestinian who wrote this may exaggerate the Israeli’s faults to try to show that they are meaner people. One piece of evidence of potential bias in this article could be that the author states many negative things (and no positive things) that the Israelis have done to Palestine, while saying not many negative things for Palestine.
E) One missing voice from this article would be from an Israeli. If we heard from an Israeli, they would tell us the bad things that Palestine has done to Israel, and we would get a full understanding of the article.
F) From this article, I think that the Israelis are being cruel and malicious. They are unleashing raids, large military operations, and assassinations. I believe that this conflict should just end. It has been going on for way to long and it is making the lives of people who live there miserable.

I agree that the conflict has been very brutal and unnecesary. By the Israeli actions, they're just asking for trouble, and retaliation. The fighting between them is unfair to the the citizens of the countries, and it makes their lives very dangerous.
It is terrible that people are going around killing each other, no matter what the reason. A peaceful negotiation will resolve any conflicts between the Palestinian and Israeli forces. The fighting involves the countries around the attacks because they have to be alert for unexpected attacks. I agree with Jay in that malicious acts are occurring, and believe that the "conflict should just end" if it were only that simple.
It's sad that people are fighting and that they cannot resolve their problems calmly, without violence. I agree that many lives are in danger from the constant dueling. I also believe all this should be put to an end immediately.
