I. Title: Where’s the shame? Source: Asher Meir Date: April 4th, 2008
II. Summary: In
III. Reactions:
A) This article relates to the theme of impact of interaction among and within major societies. This is because from the act of bribery it leads to more problems, destruction, and arguments between the societies in
B) This issue has been occurring recently but in history cheating, lying, and foxy actions have always been a problem. Even though history has repeated events like this, this particular one is different. They have been mostly interested in these problems since 1997; at this point is when they realized what a problem the bribery was at.
C) This article is most likely written by a male Israeli. He must have an outsider’s point of view from interviewing the men in politics and not being legislature or Shas member himself.
D) The author of this article has some of his own opinions presented if looked at carefully. If he is representing the manner in a negative way and of that only he is showing readers how bad the issue is. We don’t know how serious the topic can get or even the evidence of how long and much it has occurred.
E) I feel the point of view missing from the article is one from an insider. I would like to hear a Shas member, a legislature in the satiation, and most importantly an Israeli accused of this felony in politics. If I heard these opinions I feel I could understand the situation better and the real seriousness of the represented topic.
F) My opinion on the article is that I feel it was informational and well written. I was not aware of this topic and the realization that politics bribed people so much and got away with it. I would just like to here more opinions from other members inside of the given situation. I also feel that this world needs to understand that this situation proves no respect for the government, its rules and the trust we need to have. I think that we need to realize that these topics need to be taken into consideration.
