http://www.expressindia.com/latest-news/India-to-have-1-mn-new-jobs-in-2008-Survey/281195/
Summary:
This article was mainly about how the Indian Government has added around an estimated 10,25,800 jobs in the country. These jobs focus on the healthcare and education of the country, vital to its growth and prosperity in the world. K Pandia Rajan tells us that the Ma Foi is replacing some of the older jobs with "hospitality, health and education," showing that the company is striving for a better quality of lifestyle. IF all goes as planned, the newer jobs will increase the income and the economy will get a boast in the right direction from this increase in fresh human reasorces.
Theme:
The AP Theme that this topic is deals with is Creation, Expansion, and Interaction of Economic Systems because it shows how Ma Foi is trying to expand its influence in the human resources world with fresh skilled workers. This goes along with industrialization, having new young workers makes the company more organized and the new workers know thing that the old ones never learned.
Point Of View:
This article was most likely written by an influential person in the Ma Foi , for it tells about all the pros of the new jobs, and mentions none of the risks or cons. This is evident also because the author’s mission is to most likely trying to give hope and support the new jobs, and take a stride in the right direction.
Missing Voice:
I believe that this article desperately needed the viewpoint of a citizen that would be affected by the change in the types of jobs. This input is important because its crucial to know how the public will react with such a large change, and to see if they will be able to adapt to it. If the citizens that need these jobs have no skill or training in the new jobs, then the economy might plunder and overall weaken the whole government. On the other hand, it could in essence boast the morale of the people and give them hope for a better life and world, making the whole society prosper.
Reaction:
I enjoyed reading this article because it showed how India is actually trying to move forward and help the people of the country by providing better healthcare and jobs, which is important to me because I believe that you can’t have a prospering society if the citizens aren’t happy with their occupation.
