II.- Summary: Many Africans at risk of contracting AIDS may soon have a solution. The African government is considering promoting and encouraging circumcision amongst males. Studies have shown that circumcised men have a significantly lower risk of obtaining the virus HIV. Circumcision reduces the risk of contracting AIDS by 60%, making circumcision a more effect solution to unprotected intercourse, as apposed to nothing. III.- Reactions:
A) This article relates to the impact of interaction among and within major societies. The African continent is struggling with the continuous spreading of HIV and AIDS. The article sheds light on a new solution to help prevent the passing of the disease. The information given in the article can help all societies become aware of useful ways of prevention besides traditional methods.
B) For many years, the spread of HIV and AIDS has been a problem in all countries, the continent of Africa leading. AIDS is a virus that inevitably kills you and if you’re not using protection, you’re at risk. In past years, condoms have ultimately been the virtually only form of protection against this virus. Circumcised males are now at a lesser risk of contracting the virus through unprotected intercourse.
C) Jennifer Brea is a European freelance writer. She is an outsider writing about an African approach towards decreasing the spread of HIV and AIDS.
D) The author seems to show no sign of bias in her work except for the fact that she only acknowledges Africa as implementing the encouragement of circumcision while the whole world has the same problem.
E) The point of view missing from this article is from an insider native to Africa. It would be helpful to hear the opinion of someone in power in Africa. Their view would show how they plan to approach this method and what they feel about it.
F) I feel that this article was informational and entertaining to read about. New methods or solutions to help the world, such as one like this, always catch my eye and make me want to learn more about how people plan to help.

Wow...This was a very interesting topic. Although I do question the statistics that having circumsiscion lowers chance of getting HIV by 60% it is fascinating. Thanks Diggz for picking an article that allowed me to learn something new.
